Francis Soucy, CIM^®, CPA

With a certificate in financial planning, Ms. Couture has been working in wealth management since 1996. She specializes in financial strategies, taxation, retirement analysis and business transfers, and has in-depth expertise in the agricultural field. Ms. Couture wants to support her clients in achieving their financial goals, whether personal or professional. Her primary aim is to help increase growth of assets under management and her clients' satisfaction through sound advice and attentive financial planning services.

A resident of Notre-Dame-de-Stanbridge, Ms. Couture is actively involved in her community and proud to support various charities. She cherishes the value of social inclusion.

Mr. Johnston has worked in finance since 1981. He earned a certificate as Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers at Concordia University. Designated a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM^®), he was director of personal banking services at Canada's largest chartered bank. In the securities industry since 1993, he held the position of Vice-President and Branch Manager with national brokerage firms before joining Desjardins Securities.

Mr. Johnston goes above and beyond for his clients. Available and committed, he ensures ongoing professional monitoring of all files entrusted to him. He lives in Cowansville and is very active in all of the regions he serves.

Mr. Johnston is also active in his community. He is Vice-President and founding member of the board of directors of the Au Diapason Palliative Care Foundation, and helps to organize several fundraising events for the organization and many others. In this role, he was honoured twice by Desjardins Securities for his community involvement and was a finalist for the prestigious Top des leaders de l'industrie financière, in the category Implication sociale de Finance investissement.

Mr. Deland holds a bachelor of business administration and has earned the financial planner designation. He's been working in the field of investments since 2002. Prior to joining the Desjardins Securities team in 2022, he worked for over 15 years at a Desjardins caisse in the Brome-Missisquoi region.

A Farnham resident since 2008, Mr. Deland is actively involved in his community. He enjoys travel and hockey and, of course, everything finance! He makes a point of staying up to date on all the latest financial news and takes every opportunity he can to learn more to keep pace with industry best practices and trends.

Ms. Vermette earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Université Laval and has been working in the securities field since 1990 (Midland Walwyn, Merrill Lynch, CIBC Wood Gundy, Desjardins Securities) as an assistant to advisors.

Resident of Cowansville, she joined the Johnston Soucy Couture Advisory Group in 1993 and has provided outstanding customer service since that time. Passionate about sports, she competes provincially and nationally in horse riding and volunteers at many equestrian events.

Ms. Boulet has worked for Desjardins since 2005 and has extensive knowledge of the financial sector. She was first hired for customer service and then worked as an asset management assistant and wealth management advisor at Caisse Desjardins de Bedford. Her rigour and sound organization skills are put to good use as she provides administrative support to the team.

A resident of Dunham, she knows the area well and is involved in various local organizations.

Ms. Bergeron is a resident of Farnham and has worked at Desjardins Securities since 1996 in the roles of associate advisor and branch coordinator. Her extensive knowledge in securities contributes to the attentive, professional service she gives to all our clients and partners.

As an associate advisor on the team, she handles quality control for our services and organizes events and transactional aspects. She's focused, detail-oriented and efficient─a significant asset to our group.  

Since she began in securities in 1985, Ms. Bédard has worked at many leading institutions (Midland Walwyn, National Bank Financial, Raymond James and Desjardins Securities). She has held various positions, including branch coordinator and assistant to advisors.

Resident of Cowansville, she enjoys tackling challenges and working with our clients. Her pleasant manner and attention to detail are indispensable assets to our team.
