Service Offer

Wealth management — Portfolio management

We provide both discretionary and traditional portfolio management service:

  • Discretionary: Investors wishing to delegate management of their portfolios may do so in complete confidence by opting for our discretionary solution.
  • Traditional: If you like to be informed of each trade and take part in investment decisions, traditional management will suit you perfectly.

Retirement analysis

What are your retirement goals? How best to disburse your savings? When to convert your RRSP to an RRIF? When to request QPP payments?

As financial planners, we will develop a retirement analysis with you. The portfolio strategy should match your retirement vision to ensure that your goals are fulfilled.

Insurance1

We have specialized insurance resources to help you get all the information you need to assess your insurance needs.

Taxation

Taxation is linked directly to your portfolio’s performance:

  • Special attention is paid to the types of income generated in each of your accounts.
  • Deductibility of your fees is important.
  • We strive to balance your capital gains and losses for each fiscal year.

Training and conferences

You will be invited to attend the annual conferences on discretionary management and the economy.

Estate planning1

Management of your wealth would not be complete without establishing a will and a mandate in case of disability. In addition, we can estimate for you the effect that death would have on your finances and your estate.

Caisse solution

In collaboration with your Caisse, we will offer you the best conditions for mortgage credit, lines of credit or credit cards.

Business

The establishment of an individual pension plan and the sale or transfer of your business are major décisions. This makes it important to have skilled people around you who understand the various aspects of these steps. The professionals at Desjardins, with the collaboration of your advisors, can guide you in these procedures.
